Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026: the full list revealed 

Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026 reached its climax with a spectacular gala ceremony. The event celebrated the remarkable evolution of Asian cocktail culture and the visionary mixologists who continue to push the industry forward. Selected by the Asia’s 50 Best Bars Academy, this year’s ranking reveals a more diverse and competitive scene than ever before. Across the region, hyper-local ingredients, eco-conscious techniques, and high-concept hospitality are steadily redefining global drinking standards

Taking the top spot as No.1 and crowned Asia’s Best Bar 2026 is Guangzhou’s pioneering speakeasy Hope & Sesame, marking a historic triumph for mainland China’s booming cocktail scene. Following closely behind, Seoul’s eco-minded sanctuary Zest secured the No.2 position, while Hong Kong’s neighbourhood favourite Bar Leone claimed the No.3 spot, cementing its place among the continent’s elite. Bangkok made an impressive showing in the top tier with Dry Wave Cocktail Studio taking No.4, followed by Shenzhen’s rising powerhouse Mo Bar Shenzhen at No.5. 

Hong Kong once again demonstrated its undeniable clout on the regional stage, landing multiple venues in the top 50 and taking home several of the evening’s most prestigious special honours. Beyond Bar Leone’s stellar podium finish, Hong Kong saw strong representations across the board with Gokan at No.22, Mius at No.36, Argo at No.37, Montana at No.47 and sustainability pioneer Penicillin at No.48. 

The night also celebrated exceptional individual and design milestones through the evening’s special awards. Hong Kong’s Mius walked away with the SevenRooms Best Bar Design Award 2026 for its striking, immersive architectural concept. Legendary agave temple Coa was honoured with the coveted Rémy Martin Legend of the List Award 2026 in recognition of its enduring excellence and influence over the years. Meanwhile, Cantonese-inspired cocktail sanctuary Kinsman earned the Siete Misterios Best Cocktail Menu Award for its inventive, storytelling-driven drink lineup.
